The Westport Campus Swimming Carnival for 2022 will be held on Wednesday 9th of February at the town pool, commencing at 8.15am and concluding at 2:15pm.
Organisation:
Students have the following options in terms of getting to the pool.
(a) Have parents drop them at the pool by 8:15am
(b) Walk if they live close to the pool
(c) Catch the shuttle bus from the front of the school from 8:05am at a cost of $ 3 return ($2 one-way)
Cost:
Pool admission $5.10.
Students are requested to have the correct money.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the kiosk or students may wish to bring their own.
House Organisation:
House meetings will be held prior to the carnival to elect captains / vice captains and to encourage participation in the carnival. All students are expected to attend the carnival. Students not attending will be ineligible to represent our school in sport during Semester One.
House membership is as follows – according to surname:
A->D BUKARI (possum - blue) L->Q TALWONG (magpie - red)
E->K KULA (koala - green) R->Z WIREA (pelican - yellow)
Please remember to bring hats and sunscreen and students are encouraged to wear their house colour. If the weather is unfavourable on Friday, please listen to the local radio stations around 7:30am and look on Facebook for possible cancellation details.
