Supporting our students in exploring future career and study pathways is a key priority, and one of the many ways this is achieved is through access to high-quality events such as the Mid Coast Careers Market, held this week.
This comprehensive event served as a ‘one-stop shop’ for students, providing access to a wide range of local businesses, training providers, and industry representatives. It promoted employment, study, and training opportunities across the region while highlighting the diversity and strength of the local economy.
Students from both campuses engaged in a variety of interactive and informative activities. They explored career pathways across multiple industries, gathered information about job opportunities, and participated in hands-on demonstrations designed to deepen their understanding of the skills and qualifications required in various fields.
These experiences are invaluable in expanding students’ awareness of the many options available to them after school, helping them make informed decisions about their futures.
