Hastings Secondary College PCYC Port Macquarie has officially opened! The brand-new, state-of-the-art facility is a testament to the dedication and collaboration of the community, NSW Department of Education, PCYC NSW and partners.
We would like to acknowledge the hard work and commitment of our College Deputy Principal, Geoff Duck, who has been the driving force behind this project from inception to completion. With a vision to provide a high-quality facility for our students, college sports programs, and Clontarf Academy, his dedication has been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. We also extend our gratitude to The Hon. Leslie Williams MP - Local Member for Port Macquarie, and our College Principal, Meaghan Cook, for their unwavering support throughout this endeavor.
This will be the first PCYC club co-located with a school, Hastings Secondary College, and signals a new era of collaboration between PCYC and the NSW Department of Education to enhance youth outcomes.
Our PCYC features a range of sporting facilities and equipment including;
- 2x multi-purpose sports courts
- Gymnastics
- Gym & Fitness facility
- 3x multi purpose rooms
- NSW Police Youth Engagement Office
- Youth Hub
The opening of the Hastings Secondary College PCYC Port Macquarie marks a significant milestone in our community. This innovative facility not only provides state-of-the-art resources for our students but also fosters a strong partnership between the PCYC and the NSW Department of Education.
