Our exceptional student leadership team represented Hastings Secondary College alongside College Principal Meaghan Cook and Deputy Principals Damien Huens and Duncan Kirkland at the ‘Young Guns Breakfast’ to launch the upcoming Luminosity Youth Summit.
Our Westport Campus Vice Captain, Anthony Hooper, opened the morning's proceedings with an 'Acknowledgment of Country,' and Port Macquarie Campus Vice Captain, Jack Lewis, was featured as one of the guest speakers. Jack shared his personal journey and the profound impact last year's Summit has had on his academic and personal growth. He highlighted his favourite speakers and workshops, elaborating on their significance. Attendees were moved and inspired by Jack's speech, during which he expressed gratitude to the event organisers and encouraged all young people to consider attending the Luminosity Youth Summit this year.
The Summit presents a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain valuable skills, network with like-minded individuals, and draw inspiration from brilliant thought leaders from all corners of the globe. With the theme of "Purpose & Possibility," this year's summit promises to be an exceptional event!
