Congratulations to the Winning House... FLYNNS!

A heartfelt thank you to the students, staff, and families who attended our Port Macquarie Campus Swimming Carnival. Despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, with persistent rain falling all morning, the day was an incredible success, marked by enthusiasm, house spirit, and positive attitudes. There were high levels of participation in both competitive and non-competitive events, and it was great to see the weather improve throughout the day.

Flynns House emerged as the runaway winners in the House Pointscore, superbly led by Captains Joe Horton, Jackson Farrugia, Ruby Gallagher and Imojen Enfield. Our other House Captains also displayed exceptional leadership skills on the day

  • Towns: Sophie Buttsworth, Bianca Abeckett, Quinn Archibald and Sunny Arndell
  • Shelly: Isaiah Monteleone, Rock Munday, Stephanie Lawrence and Imojen Lunn
  • Lighthouse: Charlie White, Declan Treacy, Mahayla Sime and Matilda Stewart

Our Age Champions of each year group were;

  • 12 Years: Charley-Jane O'Maley
  • 13 Years: Sarah Mitchell and Max Pengelly
  • 14 Years: Grace Morris and Jake Reid
  • 15 Years: Avalon Enfield and Beau Grigg
  • 16 Years: Grace Kelly and Cameron Carson
  • 17/18 Years: Imojen Enfield and Daniel Chandler

Congratulations to all our swimmers, particularly those who will go on to represent the college at the Zone Carnival being held at Kempsey on March 8.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Inner Vision Surf N Skate for the incentive prizes and Laing and Simons for their marquee, which came in very handy on the day.

We were very proud to hear the pool staff provide glowing accounts of the behavior and manners displayed by our students on the day. It was a credit to everyone who attended for making the carnival such a success and ensuring it was memorable for all involved
