At Hastings Secondary College, wearing the College uniform is compulsory, and all students are expected to adhere to our uniform policy.

Team Spirit is the official uniform provider for Hastings Secondary College. They offer high-quality uniforms that align with our uniform policy and support our college community.

Uniform shop hours

The uniform shop is open on the following days, times, and locations during the college term. Uniform items are the same across the college, and families from either campus can visit the uniform shop at both locations.

We expect all parents to support their children in being responsible members of our community by upholding the accepted standard of dress at Hastings Secondary College.

Our uniform policy supports:

• The clear identification of students and non-students on college grounds.
• Fostering a sense of personal pride in appearance among students.

From 2023, a single 'College' uniform for both Westport Campus and Port Macquarie Campus was introduced, which can be worn on all college days. Year 7 students are encouraged to purchase the new uniform, while older students may transition to it as replacements become necessary.

Uniform policy

All uniform items must feature the College/Campus logo or the College 'H-birds' embroidery. Items without these are NOT part of the official college uniform.

If a student is not wearing the uniform, a short note explaining the reason must be provided.

• The following are NOT part of the college uniform:

  • Leggings, hoodies, tights, jeans, or brief shorts.
  • Jewellery or make-up.

• Enclosed, solid plain black leather lace-up shoes must be worn at all times while at college, except on sports days and during PDHPE practical lessons, when sport joggers are required.

• Students are encouraged to wear the College navy peaked capor bucket hat with the embroidered 'H' logo outdoors. However, caps must be removed when entering classrooms.

• All uniform items, except socks, must display the college/ campus logo. Items purchased from other suppliers without the logo are NOT considered part of the college uniform.
