We are upgrading Hastings Secondary College to support the student community.
The Department of Education will be providing a new shared use multi-sports facility at the Port Macquarie Campus as part of the Hastings Secondary College upgrade, in partnership with Police Citizens Youth Clubs NSW (PCYC).
The shared use multi-sports facility will include 2 multi-purpose sports courts, gymnastics facilities, multipurpose rooms, a gymnasium, a Clontarf Academy, and other additional facilities. The shared use multi-sports facility will have two entrances, one within Port Macquarie Campus for staff and students and one public-use entrance.
Site establishment for multi-sports facility starts 5 December 2022
From Monday 5 December, we will set up the construction site for the multi-sports facility by setting up site fencing, installing site offices and amenities and establishing safe access around the site. The multi-sports facility is Stage 3 of the Hastings Secondary College upgrade art the Port Macquarie Campus.
Access to the construction site is shown on the map overleaf, and will be from Owen Street.
The Construction Traffic Management Plan for this work is in the process of being finalised. This will be available on the Planning Portal webpage prior to the works commencing at: https://www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au/major-projects/projects/hastings-secondary-college-portmacquarie-campus-upgrade
Hours of work
Work will be completed between the hours of:
- 7 am and 6 pm Monday to Fridays,
- 8 am and 1 pm Saturday,
- with no work on public holidays or Sundays unless otherwise notified.
